On May 25, 2023, the time has come again: The regional trade fair SchraubTec NORD is coming back to Hamburg after its successful debut in 2022. The regional trade fair on the subject of screw connections, technology, tools as well as purchasing and procurement of C-parts will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Hamburg-Schnelsen exhibition hall. The special thing about the regional trade fair concept: Participation is made easier for trade visitors due to the regional proximity (short journey, no overnight stay). The organizers are expecting around 500 participants and around 40 exhibitors. Around 10 specialist lectures and practical workshops will be held by the exhibitors to accompany the trade fair. The organizer of SchraubTec is the Vogel Communications Group (VCG). With this concept of a focused regional trade fair series, the Würzburg-based provider of specialist communications is networking expert knowledge throughout Germany on the subject of screw connections and screw technology. In this way, the VCG is closing a gap in the industrial sector. The trade fair concept focuses strongly on the specific applications and screw tasks of the industry. The lecture program includes topics such as:

• Friction coefficient investigations of commercially available surface coatings for fasteners
• Thread insert vs. direct screw connection in industrial applications
• Simple and precise pre-tensioning of large screw connections (>M24) without the use/need of special tools
• “The Emperor’s New Clothes in Screw Technology?” or “Is there too much magic and voodoo surrounding industrial screw technology?”
