On May 15th the time has come: the regional trade fair SchraubTec is coming back to Hamburg. After a successful start to the year with around 850 participants each at SchraubTec Landshut and Sindelfingen, there are three more dates planned for 2024.

The regional trade fair for industrial user sectors presents products and services relating to screw connections, technology, tools as well as purchasing and procurement of C-parts from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Hamburg-Schnelsen exhibition hall. The special thing about the regional trade fair concept: Participation is made easier for trade visitors due to the regional proximity (short journey, no overnight stay). The organizers are expecting over 500 participants and around 50 exhibitors. Participation is free for visitors.

The trade fair also offers 10 specialist presentations on current topics, including: "Rethinking wind turbines with new screw concepts for greater stability and operational safety", "Finite element method-based design of screw connections" and "Does the forward torque take us further or does the residual torque in the QA do the rest for us?" Rainer Janecke reports on the "Path to becoming a VQWS certified trainer" for the association.
