On November 6th the time has come: the regional trade fair SchraubTec is stopping in Dresden. After a successful year of trade fairs, the last date in 2024 is now approaching in the industrial triangle of Dresden-Leipzig-Chemnitz. Participation is free of charge.

This year, SchraubTec is opening its doors for the last time and is inviting screw specialists and users to the International Congress Center in Dresden on November 6th. The trade fair is part of a Germany-wide series of events and offers a unique platform for exchanging knowledge and solutions relating to industrial screw connections.

From 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., participants can discover the latest products and services from over 65 exhibitors. With around 700 trade visitors expected, SchraubTec Dresden is an important meeting place for experts from the Dresden-Leipzig-Chemnitz industrial triangle. Accompanying the trade fair, there is an extensive lecture program that covers current topics in the industry. Participation in the trade fair is free of charge; registration is possible via the event website.

The trade fair also offers 10 specialist lectures on current topics. Lukas Kois from Desoutter will kick things off in Room 1 with his lecture on the topic of "Focus on future-oriented worker management". Here he will explain how companies can use innovative methods such as position monitoring to increase the efficiency of their production processes, even in times of a shortage of skilled workers and staff turnover.

At the same time, Dr. Andreas Letsch from Bosch Rexroth will be giving a talk in lecture room 2 on "Challenges and solutions in battery assembly". He will show how screw technology as a connection technology in battery production meets important requirements for robust connections and non-destructive disassembly. This is particularly important for the repair and recycling of battery systems.

Arne Welenz from Joseph Dresselhaus examines the developments in C-parts management in his presentation "Procurement 2.0 - agile, digital, efficient and secure". He discusses the radical changes that procurement has undergone in recent years and shows efficient solutions for optimizing production supply.

SchraubTec Dresden is not only a trade fair, but also a valuable learning platform for screwdriving specialists who want to gain further qualifications. A lecture by Rainer Janecke from VQWS e. V. is dedicated to the path to becoming a "VQWS-certified trainer", a qualification that enables screwdriving experts to pass on their knowledge as trainers.

The organizer of SchraubTec is the Vogel Communications Group (VCG). With the regional trade fair series, the Würzburg-based provider of specialist communications efficiently networks expert knowledge on the topics of screw connections, procurement and logistics and screw technology throughout Germany, thereby closing a gap in the industrial sector. The trade fair concept focuses strongly on the specific applications and screw tasks of the industry.

With 790 employees and a turnover of around 100 million, the Vogel Communications Group (VCG) is a leading provider of specialist communication and specialist information.
